Quote: New York— June 2, 2010 — Atari, one of the world’s most recognized videogame publishers, announced today that they have acquired the rights to publish Blade Kitten, the videogame based on the comic book series by creator Steve Stamatiadis. Developer Krome Studios brings bounty hunter Kit Ballard to digital life with Blade Kitten which Atari will release this September for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®Network, and Windows PC Download at Atari.com. Good news for those of you wanting an XBox 360 release. And a PC release. I want a Mac release :/ _________________ Get out of my mind, idea! I already have an idea in there! |

Man, I wish I hadn't discovered all this so soon, I have to wait the whole summer to get at this... I love the game's graphical style, it reminds me (vaguely) of Borderlands.
Do we have a price range or system requirements for pc? o.o _________________ Sometimes, I forget to reload. |

I wonder if it'll be on Steam.

We're still working all that stuff out with Atari.
Except for a Mac release - chances of that are zero at the moment. Sorry. _________________ "Venture and I have been engaged in a deadly game of cat and also-cat for years!" - The Monarch |

We'd definitely benefit the most if everyone bought all three.
But seriously get the version that fits you. ME I like the console versions on the big screen but I play the PC version pretty much everyday at work. Win/win situation really. _________________ "Venture and I have been engaged in a deadly game of cat and also-cat for years!" - The Monarch |

Q: Have you thought of a good control scheme for the PC version?
And what do you think is the specs required to run the game? Will the PC version have modding support?(like DMC, a console game that was drafted to the pc) I just couldn't help it. _________________ Challenge me and your base will glow like the sun. ![]() It is only the beginning general, the beginning of the end!! |

Yes there's some special control schemes for the PC that use keyboard and mouse. Though I still prefer to use a wired 360 controller for best play.
Can't remember PC specs off the top of my head. No modding support. _________________ "Venture and I have been engaged in a deadly game of cat and also-cat for years!" - The Monarch |

Meh, I don't have much appeal to the mouse.
Don't be so sure about that sir. According to my searches, there is also no modding support in DMC, that means the modding community really experimented on it.(They're gonna dissect it thoroughly) Q: How can the PC game files be safe without ever seeing the possibility of having BK's 3d model replaced with _____'s and shown off the net? Will one of the other (probably unused)characters be playable as a unique entity with his/her own playstyle? Are you willing to turn yourself into a major cameo appearance(boss fight maybe)? _________________ Challenge me and your base will glow like the sun. ![]() It is only the beginning general, the beginning of the end!! |

I personally would think DRM on Steam is redundant, as Steam itself is DRM. But I don't have a say in that.
Still, best of luck. It's coming out this moth! _________________ Get out of my mind, idea! I already have an idea in there! |
